Columbus Capitol Boys defeated the Bob Cats 49-44 on -Continued on Badk Page_„ COMMUNICATION Tryon Little Theatre is work ing on a wonderful Melodrama, ‘ The Two Mrs. Carrolls”, written by Martin Vale. It is a shuddery story of attempted murder. Laid in the South of France. Critics say,“It is a smoothly written and well contrived melodrama. It has high emotional appeal, suspense fulness built with subtley and conviction, and lighter moments to sharpen its dramatic force. A good story, well told.” Miss Elisabeth Stanwood is directing a fine cast, including Mrs. Henry (Carolle) Bartol Jr., Mrs. Carter (Faye) Brown, Mrs. Etta Cashwell, Miss Olga Ormand, Mrs. Graves (Gertrude) Taylor, Robert Anderson, Holland Brady Jr., G. Isham Henderson. A well selected cast that will give a won derful performance. The play will be presented at the Tryon School Auditorium the evenings of March 6th and 7th at 8:15 p. m. Contributed. Education at Rotary Supt. Brank Proffitt of the Tryon City Schools will be the chief speaker at the Tryon Ro tary Club Friday at 1 p. m. at Oak Hall hotel, and will speak on “The Local School Situation.” Immediate Past President R. C. Burnett of the Tryon Rotary club has been elected a delegate to the International Convention which will meet in Mexico City. Roy Heavner was named as al ternate.
